All dictators are "passworded" for security. Dictation
is recorded digitally and can be dictated through any conventional
or cell phone apparatus. Dictators have the ability to fast forward,
rewind and/or review incrementally or fast forward and rewind their
dictation in its entirety from beginning to end. Priority and insertion
features are available as well. All features are accessible via the
standard telephone keypad. |
|
The digital phone-in system has the ability to emulate
most of the popular systems in use today, so there is no need to re-learn
a new system. Supported formats include: Dictaphone, Lanier, Sony,
Digital Express, VDI and Digital Voice. |
|
All voice files are archived based on a specified time
schedule, per customer request. The system has a redundant backup
memory supported by a UPS. |
|
Customized software tracks jobs from when they are initially
received until they are delivered back to the customer, by encoding
with individually assigned job numbers. |
|
Transcribed work is returned either via printing/mailing,
e-mail, or direct modem from computer to computer within 12 to 24
hours of dictation. |

Hand-Held Digital Recording System |
|
In
addition to digital phone-in services, E-Scribe, Inc. can also provide
hand-held digital dictation services. Clients dictate on a hand-held,
pocket device that holds the dictation via a removable chip. Files
are recorded automatically and can be edited by deleting, overwriting
or inserting at any point.
Chip dictation is then transmitted either via the Internet, by modem,
across a network or on conventional floppy diskettes to our transcription
centers, where finished, transcribed dictation is returned either
via printing/mailing, e-mail, or modem connection. |
